So many former wolves players in the Portugal WC squad that were considered failures at our club (Trincao, Vitinha, Guedes). Were they just not the right fit for the club at their level of development or did we not give them a good enough chance. Or were they just not ready for the premier league?

I can’t help but feel there’s been so many missed opportunities for decent players that we could have developed, to continue our decent league form and sell them at a higher price like we did with Neves, Jota, Neto, Cunha etc.
