These magnets are rad but…
Having to climb in this thing to wipe chips off them after every pass gets old quick. That’s half of a 69” piston ring in case anybody is wondering.

I wonder if Benchmade might’ve gone too far with this thing. .08” thickness for a 3” blade looks thinner than I thought it would. The aluminum scales are maybe .05”. Definitely the lightest thinnest folder I’ve ever held without feeling like it would crumble like dry leaves. We’ll see how it holds up. I’m brutal to my EDC knives. Benchmade Bugout Vapyr MagnaCut.
I just received a titanium version of their “The Burwell” pen. The actual pen is pretty awesome and is exactly what I was looking for. However, the clicking mechanism is pure garbage. I’ve found random pens, ran over in a parking lot that are more reliable. It’ll take half a dozen clicks with different techniques to get the pen to retract. I have a fairly large collection of pens. This is by far the most disappointing I’ve ever bought.
Cut it a little to close to the flute length on a 3.2 mm carbide drill. That thing is an inch deep. Deal with it on Monday…
