Finally finished my first Grey Knight, a Strike Marine named Brother Elias Boden. Still a beginner, would love any extra tips. Tried some OSL, tried lightning on the sword… is the red on the backpack too much?

Now what’s the finishing touch? Should I use a wash like nuln oil on him? I did on the storm bolter, but I kinda like the vivid bright vibe for my fellas and I think nuln oil might change this.

As far as a varnish or finish goes, should I use one? What would you recommend, keeping in mind the bright vibe I like?
