Anyone had sunroof issues? Was told the sunroof didn’t work, found it totally unplugged. Plugs it in and even with the motor hanging (no resistance from track or gears) it just clicks. Curious if others have had this and fixed it, or if I should source a new motor.
Trying to put a spacer up front with my new 4600’s. Neither side will clear the upper ball joint and I am not able to figure out why. Everything I read said I can install up to 2.5” spacers on stock uppers (these are only 2”). Why am I having such a hard time with this? I have installed spacer lifts on 8 different Toyotas never had this issue.
From what I’ve read you can use a 2” front leveling kit on these trucks without the need for new upper control arms. Tried to install my new bilsteins with a small 2” lift spacer for the front just to level it for a bit and the upper ball joint hits the spring pretty bad. Was I misinformed on what lift would fit on stock uppers?
Who has overcome the issue of vents not moving from each setting. I shot some lube on all moving parts and worked it in with no luck yet on getting it freed up. Who has had this issue and fully fixed it?
For the life of me I can find the name of this. Redid my timing belt recently and found a coolant leak from what appears to be the top of this ( weird since we didn’t touch this). Anyone know that part of have experience with a coolant leak here or near here?
Looking for some advice, I’m terrified! I just did the timing belt on my 2005 tundra (3rd time doing a 4.7 belt with no previous issues) and I am pulling a p0016 code for bank 1 cam position sensor. I can clear it and it stays off at idle, any throttle and it comes back. Did I just screw up the timing or is it a possible sensor issue. Drives fine, doesn’t seem to run rough at all even under acceleration
Here’s your sign to always assume that your belt will look like this if they seller “doesn’t know” when it was last done. Feel like this motor was moments from meeting god.
Anyone here done a wheel bearing? Seems like you have to press it out rather than put in a new assembly like my 4runner. If you do have to press it, do you have to use a pneumatic press or would a large c clamp style press work?
Who here has swapped out climate control lights (fan speed, temp, etc) for led or another color? Thinking I want led but would love to see it first to know if it’s to bright. Anyone that’s done it send some links for lights you like!
Held out looking for an 05-06 double cab limited. Snagged this 05 with 250k for $5700 in Utah. How do you think I did? Needs a few minor things here and there but think I will be in less than 6500 all said and done!
