I have now tried to install Proton Drive on windows and android, and both seem to default to immediately downloading all remote files rather than leave it on-demand when I actually access them. Additionally, I have to wait for the sync to finish before even marking them as "free up space" to make them on-demand. That seems like a silly default for any large amount of storage when you want to share it to a new, much smaller device.

Is there a way to always default to on-demand, or am I missing something about the intended use? I don't need to sync 200GB of pictures to every machine I connect to Proton Drive.
