Hi everyone, I am 47 and was diagnosed with a small fibroid few years back. My periods have been heavier (with clots) and have gotten longer- they last about 7-8 days with the last few days with brown blood. This month I got my period on time; however I am going on day #15 and I still have dark brown/light brown blood when wiping and some on panty liner - this is new and my period has never lasted this long where it just won’t stop. Has anyone had this happen? I see my doctor on Friday.

Hi guys - I am 47, diagnosed with a small fibroid few years back - last few years my period have gotten very heavy with clots but still typically come every 26-28 days and last about 7-8 days with the last day or two with brown blood. This month my period started on time and was normal but the tail end is not finishing… I am on day #15 with brown blood still when I wipe. It’s frustrating because it’s never gone on this long… days #9 to like #12/13 had pink/brown mixed and now it’s mostly just brown - I do have a doctors appt booked for next week but my health anxiety is through the roof. Any one else go through the same? (To add I had a pelvic ultrasound 6 months ago which was normal).

I am 47, have a fibroid, have periods that last around 7-8 days with the last two or three days with lots of brown discharge - this month I am going on day #10 and although the red blood has ended I am getting discharge with pink and sometimes brown in it. Is my period just taking longer to finish?
