Were you offered admission to Aalto but declined due to high tuition prices, immigration issues, or a better offer somewhere else? I would like to hear about your experience, for potential publication
Hi all! I'm Brynna, and I work in the student union advocating for international students. Recently there have been a few news articles about the number of international students dropping mostly due to unattractive immigration policies, economic issues, and the reduction of state sponsored scholarships. Not much of the conversation is about the potential talent they are losing in Finland, and we want to highlight this. If you received an offer in either 2025 or 2026, and declined due to high tuition fees, immigration issues, or a more attractive offer elsewhere, I'd like to hear about your experience at international@ayy.fi .
