Almost finished this pirate cutie and final portrait for a big event this weekend. My favorite parts besides making the face was adding the earring and making the treasure map. Just finished this patch for someone making their own battle rattle - it’s what the costume for the main character is called. This was my biggest one I’ve done yet at 5 x 4 inches. I used the waffle stitch and Interlocking I stitch for this one. Original pattern based off the reference in the book series.

This was my first attempt at trying to figure out how to make those adorable wrinkles with embroidery thread and had a fun time figuring it out. Just finished this cutie for the upcoming Salem Cat Museum exhibit! I was inspired by the breed name of bobtail to do a roaring 20s style outfit since they flappers were famous for their short bob hairstyles. 🎶

A delightful commission finally completed. The face was hand embroidered separately on felt then attached to the piece. The bread, wine, cigarette and cheese are all stumpwork and the scarf is crocheted. Hope you enjoy! 🥖🧀💕
