No such thing as a coincidence? Or is there?

My wife and I are watching The West Wing for the first time and I noticed this.

Michael O'Neill played Riley McCallister on NCIS, as a former SSA of some sort of Gibbs. He was on the episodes S8E8 Enemies Foreign and S8E9 Enemies Domestic (plus 1 more). He played secret service agent Ron Butterfield on The West Wing and it looks like he was the guy in charge of the presidential detail (like the guy who fired Kate Todd in S1E1 Yankee White).

Mark Harmon, of course, is Gibbs, a SSA on NCIS and a subordinate to McCallister in the flashback on Enemies Domestic. He had a 4 episode run on The West Wing as secret service agent Simon Donovan. He was a subordinate to O'Neill's character and protector (?) of CJ Cregg, the press secretary.

Harmon's first episode on The West Wing?? S3E18 Enemies Foreign and Domestic.

Every so often, someone points out actors who have been in the NCIS verse (and Jag) as 2 different characters.

I saw Patrick Labyorteaux, known for being Bud Roberts on Jag and cameos in NCIS a few times, as a Russian mobster (? maybe...he was arrested) named Olevv Kovlov in Love Lost, S20E7.

A couple of episodes later, in Too Many Cooks (part one), S20E10, a FLETC Instructor Greta Ford looks (and voice sounds) very familiar. She's the actress for Gibbs favorite sheriff, Sheriff Charlie Dupray of The Good Samaritan, S1 E14. The actress also played a part in NCIS LA in 2019.

I haven't seen these two pointed out before so.... add to the list.

I'm doing a rewatch and I really don't understand why Jack is there. She has her own office, I've never heard any one call her director (like Assistant or Deputy). If she's a shrink, no one had that position (NCIS Shrink 😆) before or after her. I think the writers just wanted another pretty blonde that would be a Gibbs' gal. She's not really needed for the show. I DO like Marie Bello as an actress but the position she was put in, meh.

Everyone's thoughts before season 24 gets here?

Kind of a filler for the off-season, something to think about.

What if #4 balls out? Does better and throws more yards, TDs than his best season? The Browns go 14-3 and Watson takes the Browns deep into the playoffs. Superbowl, maybe? MVP season or a finalist.

What would you want for 2027? Re-sign Watson, flip him the bird and say CYA, or thanks for the memories, don't let the door hit you in the ass!

I told my son when we got him that it was only a Superbowl appearance that will make the trade worth it. There's one more year left.
