My friend accidentally had a cup of coffee spilled on his macbook and it died down after behaving weirdly. He took it to the Auth Service centre, after inspecting they said the motherboard needs to be replaced costing obv more than the buy price but they also said that it is working for now but might die down anytime in the future. Since it was working he got it back.

He is worried that it might die down anytime in the future. Anyone out here who has this rare but not so rare incident of spilling liquid on their macbook and then after getting it cleaned up inside out, using for a considerable time without any issues?

If anyone with a shared relatable incident would share their experience, it would be great!!
