Movies with juggalo references - found a few new ones (new to me, anyways)
Been on a kick watching psychological thrillers that revolve around hard drugs lately, and inadvertently found two movies back-to-back with juggalo references.
First one is a little bit of a stretch - in Requiem for a Dream (2000) at one point Harry is watching the Home Shopping Network and they show a closeup of jewelry from “Jack Jackel’s estate.” The spelling is slightly off, but considering the movie was being filmed right after Jeckel dropped (and when ICP was at their all time cultural peak) I could see it being an Easter egg from some ninja who worked on the movie.
But the next one is blatantly obvious. In Spun (2002) a meth cook is shown watching JCW like 6 fucking times all throughout the movie! They continually show closeups of the TV as he watches.
I’ve heard of a lot of movies/shows with juggalo references (Always Sunny, SNL, etc) but these somehow slipped my radar. Y’all got any other deep cuts like this?
