Did anyone here decide that Spravato wasn't for them? How long did it take you?

I'm only 7 treatments in and I know it can take time. But I feel so much worse than I did before starting it, and my fatigue, brain fog, and chronic headaches have all gotten worse. Did anyone here decide it wasn't right for them? How long did you give it?

Raspberry lemonade sherbet - best thing I've made so far!

I had some raspberries going soft and needed to do something with them, and hooo boy did I find my new favorite use for the fruit!

Unfortunately I didn't measure the ingredients, but I based the recipe on this post and tweaked it a little. I believe the measurements are close.

Ingredients

  • ~ 1 pint raspberries
  • large splash of milk
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • large splash of lemonade (I used Wawa diet lemonade - adjust for your personal sweetness tastes!)
  • 1/4 tsp xanthan gum OR a heaping tablespoon of collagen (for extra creaminess)

Directions

Blend everything together, freeze in your pint overnight. (I didn't mind the seeds, but if you want to remove them, run the mixture through a mesh strainer into your pint).

When ready, run sides of pint under hot water for a few seconds.

Blend on sorbet setting. Don't add any liquid if it comes out powdery - just keep blending until it's the desired texture.

Enjoy! :)

Savory breakfast ideas that aren't eggs?

I eat plenty of eggs throughout the week but am getting tired of them and need other ideas. I know that eggs aren't necessarily a "breakfast" food and that it's all marketing - and you can eat whatever you want for breakfast - but I'm still expanding my horizons there. I used to be vegan, so I do love tofu and make tofu scramble on occasion.

I rarely crave sweet in the morning and completely burned myself out on greek yogurt and oats over the years. I did make a tuna melt the other day that I quite enjoyed, but I'm not always in the mood for fish first thing.

Breakfast should be high protein (20+g) to help me absorb my medication and manage blood sugar. I also have to be careful with how oniony/garlicky or spicy my first meal is as I have GERD and it's the worst in the AM.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance! :)

I am on my second week of Spravato - 2 sessions at 56mg and 1 at 84mg under my belt. Next session is tomorrow.

I noticed that my symptoms have somehow gotten worse since starting. The treatment is great and I usually feel good on treatment days because, well ... I'm high. But the other days of the week I'm struggling with fatigue, depression, anxiety, weepiness, and irritability. I have ADHD and my executive dysfunction feels worse too.

Did it get worse before it got better for you? If so, how long did it take?

Any of this seem familiar? Not looking for medical advice, don't fret - just gathering ideas/questions to bring to my doc.

Curious to know if this sounds plausible/familiar to those who have it, since I'm still learning about it. I'm also wondering if it's maybe POTS, some kind of autoimmune issue, a combination of things ...? I have no idea. Any and all thoughts are welcome!

(And yes, I know this is neurotic ... but I'm so tired of not feeling well and just want some answers, and my ADHD makes it super hard for me to recall everything on the spot.)

Other symptoms + considerations:

  • frequent fatigue, easily burned out (intensified recently by starting ketamine treatments for depression)
  • poor sleep from TMJ, tossing and turning, neck/lower back pain, inability to get comfortable; some snoring, but no sleep study done
  • history of injuries while consistently working out, whether tendonitis from lifting or shin splints/ankle tendonitis from running
  • ability to “pop” joints, especially shoulders and ankles, without pain ("party trick" as a kid to gross people out)
  • low blood pressure in teens; would get dizzy when standing up too fast (current blood pressure is normal with ADHD meds)

Hi all! I am new to ornithology and trying my best, so please be kind if I'm making any mistakes. :)

A little over a week ago, a mama robin started building a nest in the hanging ivy planter on my patio. I was SO excited to see her lay eggs and watch the babies hatch. Unfortunately, she only laid 3 eggs, 2 of which disappeared over 48 hours. I don't know if predators took them or if the eggs were just not viable. She left after the second disappeared and didn't show back up.

I waited a few days to ensure she abandoned the nest and then used the flashlight test to confirm the last remaining egg was dead. Since she didn't return, I removed the nest yesterday, then refilled the divot in my planter with fresh soil.

This morning, another mama robin appeared and started hollowing out the same divot! I don't think it's the same one, as she looks chubbier, but I guess she could have just been ruffled up. I still have the old nest set aside (I didn't mean to keep it, honestly just forgot to toss it).

Anyway, I guess my question is twofold:

1. What are the chances this is the same mama robin? Google says robins may return to the same nest but often build new ones, and I imagine the original mama would have picked a new location if predators were the issue.

2. Would the rew robin use the old nest? I added it back into the divot, intending to help, then realized it might not be the best move. I just want to help but realize I could be interfering too much.

Thanks! :)
