How is everyone handling PBS? Looking through the Proxmox documentation, they are saying it should be installed on baremetal. Is there any reason this cant/shouldn't be on a VM within my cluster? I don't have an extra server to spare for a dedicated PBS node. Is anyone using PBS on a VM within their cluster and what has their experience been so far?
Just got the toshi 5L and my current water bottle won't work. I have a 40L hydroflask which is obviously to big even for the external straps. Has anyone had any luck with any bottles and using it on the external straps? Do they slide out while walking or anything?
For those that own the toshi sling, what size did you get? I'm not sure what size I want to order. Obviously the 5/6L options are about twice the size of the 2.5L, but if you own the bigger sizes what are you carrying that wouldn't fit in the 2.5L? I'm also planning on getting the toshi 20L for my backpack to carry my laptop, but on days I don't need my laptop I want a sling.
I booked a flight last week and I don't see the miles added or even pending in my account. Does this post after the trip or upon ticket purchase?
I use the SFO airport and I rarely see cheap flights outside of gwp. It seems like their prices are pretty inline with other airlines at SFO (united, AA, etc) and sometimes cost even more. I've looked for flights 1 day, 1 week, 1 month out. Is this just a thing with SFO or am I doing something wrong? I do see gwp flights pretty consistently though, however I'm not a member (yet). I should also mention I'm a DD member. Any suggestions?
I just became a DD member and want to book a flight for my family. When i check prices for a single traveler round trip ticket, the price is $290 for the ticket. Then I check prices for 3 travelers with the same departing and returning flight the price goes up to $330 per ticket. They are the same departing and return flight, same dates etc.... Why is the price increasing per ticket when there are more travelers for the same flight? This doesn't make sense.
