We go to Maui a lot and have stayed in Kaanapali, Lahaina, Paia and Wailea in the past.

We have a place booked in Kihei by Kam III for late November but I hear the beaches are in rough shape.

We are coming with small children and looking to just relax on the beach and swim in the ocean, walk to good food and ice cream, look for early whales and maybe go on an occasional sunset drive.

Should we reconsider location? Where would you stay considering the storm aftermath?

Traveling to Istanbul with my 8-month-old and I am having trouble finding a cool but affordable hotel near the main attractions.

Our vibe would be more Galata/Karakoy but since we are there for only two nights and it takes 40 mins one way in traffic, it makes sense to stick to the tourist area for our stay ..

Would absolutely love your recommendations for specific safe, clean boutique hotels!
