Preparing for Campus France interview – Bengaluru | Data Science & AI

Hi everyone,

I’m currently preparing for my Campus France interview in Bengaluru. I’ve been admitted to a Master’s program in Data Science and AI.

For those who have already attended the interview, could you please share some advice on how I should prepare and what areas I should focus on?

Also, if anyone has attended the Campus France interview at other centres/consulates in India, please share your experience and any suggestions. I’d really appreciate knowing what the interview was like and what I should be prepared for.

Thanks in advance!

Campus France mistake – Paris campus vs Biot campus

Hi everyone,

I got my Campus France application validated, and I’ve also received the payment link to pay my fees.

The problem is, I’m actually admitted to DSTI Paris, but while filling out my Campus France application, my consultancy accidentally selected DSTI Biot campus instead of Paris.

My Campus France application has already been validated, so now I’m not sure what I should do.

Should I email Campus France and explain the mistake before paying the fees, or is there another way to correct the campus information?

Has anyone faced a similar situation? I’m worried that this could cause an issue later with my visa process.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Campus France Bangalore – still waiting for validation

Hi guys, I submitted my documents for Campus France validation through Bangalore (India) on August 1st, and I still haven't received any response.

I also mailed Campus France to ask about the status, but I haven't heard back from them either.

Has anyone submitted around the same time and received their validation/email? What could be the reason for the delay?

My intake is in September, so I'm getting a bit worried about the timeline. Should I just wait, or is there anything else I can do from my side?

Any recent experience with Bangalore Campus France would really help. Thanks!

Can I show my father's GPF as financial proof for France student visa?

Hi everyone,

I’m preparing for my France student visa and wanted to ask about the financial documents.

I have an education loan sanctioned for ₹50 lakhs. Apart from that, my father has around ₹4 lakhs in his savings account and ₹8 lakhs in GPF (General Provident Fund).

Can I show the ₹8 lakh GPF amount as part of my financial proof for the France student visa?

Has anyone from India used their parent's GPF as proof of funds? Does it create any issue during the visa process, or is it better to show only the loan + bank savings?

Any experiences or advice would be really helpful. Thanks!

Campus France status showing “Validated by Campus France” but no email

Hi everyone,

My Campus France account is showing “Validated by Campus France” for my education history, like in the screenshot. But I haven't received any email or message from Campus France about the validation or next steps.

Has anyone faced the same thing? Does this mean my documents are actually validated, or do I need to wait for an official email?

What should I do now? Should I contact Campus France, or just wait?

I'm applying for the September 2026 intake, so I'm a little worried about the timeline. Any help would be appreciated.

Looking for student accommodation near DSTI Paris – Budget €350/month

Hi everyone,

I'm an international student looking for accommodation near DSTI Paris for the upcoming September intake.

I'm looking for:

  • 🏠 Shared accommodation/colocation is completely fine
  • 💰 Budget: around €350/month
  • 🚇 Location: Can be up to 1 hour from DSTI by public transport
  • 📄 I need a proper rental/residence contract or accommodation certificate that can be used for my France student visa application
  • 🛏 Furnished would be preferred, but not mandatory

If anyone has a room available, knows someone looking for a roommate, or can recommend reliable websites/residences within this budget, please let me know.

Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Campus France Bangalore validation timeline?

Hi everyone,

I submitted my documents for Campus France Bangalore (India) validation on Saturday, August 1, and I still haven't received any update.

Has anyone who recently applied through the Bangalore Campus France office received their validation? How long did it take for your documents to be validated?

I'm applying for the September intake, so I'm getting a bit anxious about the timeline.

Any recent experiences or expected processing times would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Regarding proof of funds for france student visa

Hi everyone,

I have an education loan sanction letter of ₹53 lakhs.

Apart from that, my father has ₹8 lakhs in GPF (General Provident Fund).

Recently, I transferred around ₹3 lakhs to my father's savings account through UPI, and the remaining amount was deposited over the past week.

Will these recent transfers/deposits create any issues during the France student visa process or Campus France verification? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Any advice or experiences would be really helpful.

Thanks!
