Cue help

My coach has been wanting me to slow down the left heel/foot turn out of the back of the ring. I’ve really been struggling to feel that and can’t seem to execute it. Could anyone offer some help? Whether it’s something I’m doing that’s not allowing me to slow it down, or something I need to do in order for that to happen. All advice greatly appreciated

How important are overweight implements?

I’m a hs boys thrower starting my offseason training for discus and shot put, and my new coach has STRONGLY, recommended I get a 1.75kg disc and 14lb shot put to train with this summer. I’ve already sunk a lot into implements and it feels hard to spend more money on implements I can’t even throw in comp. However I’m interested to hear the perspective of more experienced throwers who have used this training method before, is it worth it? And if so should I primarily be training with them in the offseason?

Any insights greatly appreciated
