How much would I need to open a small Newelne store and expand later on?

I am thinking about opening a small Newelne store and have 2 workers there.

How much would I need as a start? For the items, supply, and legal work

How do you guys drink water?

I really don't enjoy drinking water. I usually spend a full day with drinking only 1 or 2 cups of water.

My body is getting dehydrated and i am trying to force myself to drink water, yet, i do not enjoy it at all!

Drinking water is like a burden to me but i have to drink especially since i started taking some supplements that require 2/3 Liters of water daily

How do you guys make water more palatable?

A couple of months ago i started buying sparkling water and i drank like 2 liters per day, but imagine how bloated i was! So i stopped drinking sparkling water.

I want to check how you guys drink your water and what do you add to it to make it more palatable.

Any recommendations are appreciated

Questioning cults in Lebanon (FOR GENERAL INFORMATION, OUT OF CURIOSITY)

Disclaimer: This is just for general information. I do not belong, will not join, nor do i support joining, any cult

Are there cults in Lebanon? Is it a thing? Do people really join cults?

I remember i used to know a guy who was full of life and charismatic. However, i recall he started hanging out with a group of people, going to events and "Church" gatherings, and he changed a lot!

He became this cold, silent, disoriented, calm guy. Lost his charisma.

I do think these people who he hanged out with were members of a cult and he joined them. But is it really a thing?

I researched a little about scientology in Lebanon and i found this organization/ngo (not going to mention it's name not to seem as if i support it) that had links to scientology. Pushing L Ron Hubbard books and shit around. News articles also said they handle brochures as well to the general public

Anyone who wants to share personal experiences about this topic is highly appreciated. Thank you

Again, this is just for general knowledge, out of curiosity

Buying on AliExpress

Hi, what new services are you currently using to buy from AliExpress

I wanted to try chinahub but they dont seem reliable. With all the negative reviews online

The positive ones are from contributors with 1 reviews only, which most probably is a spam done by them

Also, their customer support is very bad. I have sent them some items i want to buy, i am still waiting for a response if they are all available and can be shipped

So please, any recommendations?

Real Estate Agents question

So, i recently placed an apartment for rent over marketplace

It is obvious that a lot of the people reaching out are real estate agents, whom i did not hire or ask for their help btw

So, in case they got the tenant from their side, would they ask me for commission or will the tenant only be responsible for that, since i did not ask for their assistance nor i did hire them?

Can we say that HA has surrendered?

After the so called "complete ceasefire", we can still see that they are still bombing the south.

So i think HA has gotten very weak that they needed any way to get out of this war without explicitly saying that they surrendered

They agreed on the ceasefire, so in the future, they can say that they did not break the agreement, but the others did. Playing the victim again in this way and clarifying the need for their weapons

I know it and everyone knows that, and still a lot of people will be in denial, but they actually Surrendered in a sneaky way

Good Morning!

Couldn't sleep at all tonight. Dont know why. Decided to get out of bed, drink my coffee, continue studying my new language, and look who was on TV! I never knew they were still airing old episodes for her shows, same time, early in the morning.

I honestly love Mariam Nour a lot!

I still remember one day when i was passing through Achrafieh and she was there, wanting to pass the street. I stopped the car and let her pass. She thanked me (hand gesture) and while passing from one way to the other, she kept blowing me kisses 🥹 she is a very sweet (highly educated, no one can argue this) old lady

I hope she is doing well. Have not been seeing her recently on TV. God bless her amazing soul

Should I upgrade?

I have an S24 Ultra since release.

I am thinking of upgrading to the S26 Ultra

Is it worth it?

I know the Bluetooth functionality for the S Pen was removed, but I rarely use it. I used to use it for taking photos sometimes, but i already have the watch 8, so i can use the camera functionality on it

What else should i take into consideration?

Visiting Tripoli

I am in my 30s now and i never ever visited tripoli

I am planning to visit it this month but im still a little hesitant due to all the rumors i hear from some people

Is it okay for a guy, with tattoos and piercings to visit there safely?

I want to visit historical sites, the souk, hammam al abed, 5an al saboun, ma3rad rachid karami, etc...

Will i be judged, frowned upon, and get weird looks?

Unfortunately, i once visited the old souk in Saida and i got very weird frowning looks, which led me never to go there again.

I guess it was due to the fact that i have multiple visible tattoos, 1 piercing, and i was wearing a cross

No offence to anyone, but i would like to know if this would be a problem if i visit

Thanks

The tipping culture in lebanon is seriously getting out of hand. Everyone expects to get a tip nowadays.

Tipping the waiter? Ofcourse, they deserve it and they mainly depend on it. Min 3youni ba3tiyon, especially the ones who have a nice smile and are welcoming

Tipping the delivery guys? DEFINITELY! If you come on your motorcycle, in the heavy rains, or in the burning sun, go up to the 4th floor on foot to deliver my food/item, you are a hero, you deserve the tip

Tipping the bartender? Acceptable, why not? I can do it

Tipping gas station workers? I mean yeah, if you are cleaning all my car windows while i fill my car, thank you, here's a tip

Tipping the newelne guy? Tekram 3ynak! You run and get the stuff people need, all day in the sun and all night while others are out or sleeping, thank you

BUT, tipping the guys who work in the supermarket at the cheese and luncheon fridges????????? This is too much!

Im not going to say which supermarket, but this has happened to me more than once, where "some" of these guys start nagging or talking how they are not getting paid on time, and how everything is expensive, and so on, expecting a tip. Even a woman, who i dont even know, stopped me there asking "did you give him a tip?? The way he was talking is not acceptable" and she is right. I literally told her "awal mara hek, bil 3ade ma fi anshaf meno, wejo ma byed7ak la r8if el so5en" (this was the first time that this happened to me btw)

Today the same thing happened again, and i saw one guy tipping them.

This is seriously getting out of hand. If someone wants to tip them, of course this is good for them, but they should not try to get us to tip.

It should definitely not become a normal thing

Or is it normal? I definitely do not recall it being a normal act

I recently was gifted a Kakariki from my partner.

Has been with me for 3 days now.

Today i placed some grated carrots on my palm and placed it inside his cage. It took him some minutes to approach me.

He approached my hand, took a carrot piece, ate it aside, not on my hand/fingers

He ate around 6 pieces like this.

Is it a good sign on the 3rd day?

He is still cautious, and slowly approaching me as i see it

How long till he fully trusts me and start standing on my fingers?

How long till he becomes comfortable with me outside his cage?
