Job prospects for remote MBSE work?

In the next few years I am looking to move to an area that may not have the greatest job offerings for systems engineering / MBSE work.

Does anyone have any experience with remote work in the systems engineering field? Would you recommend it? Is there any feelings (good or bad) on if the prevalence or acceptance of remote work is trending one way or the other?

Thanks all

Plex Photos app issue (Android)

Plex Photos was working fine for me on my Android phone, but now it only says "No Library" and "Nothing to See".

Here's what I've already done with respect to troubleshooting:

-Rescanned the library via the Plex web browser interface

-Restarted my Synology NAS

-Verified my read/write settings for my photos folder

-Verified that Plex Photos works on my IPhone

-Verified that I can see the photos through the Plex app on Roku

-Reinstalled the Plex Photos app on my Android phone

-Cleared the cache on my Plex Photos app on my Android phone

-Verified that Plex and Plexamp work and see my other libraries on my Android

As you can see, the problem is only on my Android Plex Photos app, which was working fine at one point in time. Any pointers?

How to capture command line vs UI in the context of problem domain analysis

If the stakeholder needs for a software project reveal both access via the command line and a UI, would that be considered:

- 2 different system contexts

- 2 different use cases

- 2 different extended use cases

- Other

I could see arguments for each, and wanted to canvas you all for opinions.

Now that I'm all Plexed up, what's the best places to sell my old discs (disc only; no cases)?

A big caveat: I have 200(ish) DVDs that are disc-only. I tossed all the cases after an unfortunate apartment fire years ago.

I've ripped them all onto my Plex server, and I would like to sell them, but I don't know how valuable these are without the cases.

Does anyone have any pointers?

How to pitch MBSE and (in general) systems engineering to the customer

My team is all software engineers and testers. The closest thing we use that resembles good systems engineering is gitlab issues.

The customer refuses to fund systems engineering practices or dedicated systems engineers. I have the support of management, but no bucks, no Buck Rogers. The customer wants us to "think big, move fast".

What are some approaches I can take to pitch the benefits of MBSE and systems engineering in general to the customer?

I have a masters degree in SE from the company but they are getting 0% ROI on it because I'm stuck maintaining Kanban boards.
