New Cafe induction and the humming sound is very loud. Using three burners at once the sound is very uncomfortable. Otherwise it cooks fine.

We lived in this house for 8 years before finally realizing what we wanted to do with the kitchen. I wish we figured it out years ago because we love it.
Before and after shows wall separating kitchen and dining room removed. The laundry room wall was moved back from the kitchen and further into the fireplace room making room for the island.
It is a lot much re functional and open kitchen, it transformed the entire first level of the house.

Some mistakes were made but we are very happy, and it was all done in 4 1/2 weeks, including patching/sanding wood floors, removing textured ceiling and painting entire first level.

It’s not giving me the arcs for fish and the temp is way off

I like the finished look of the waterfall side with the overhang. The side of the island opposite the window is the most visible and the main walkway so I am leaning towards a waterfall on that side so the overhang edge is not jutting out but considering leaving the other side open for maximum maneuverability with the chairs.

So full waterfall, half waterfall or no waterfall?
