It looks like the shock mounts on this 1950’s LCM have been repaired at some point. Or at least I’m assuming so based on the markings on the bottom of the chair.

I’m seeking some advice on the quality and accuracy of the repair. Does it look structurally sound? Is the repair consistent with Eames construction methods?

Just snagged this diamond chair. The coating is in ruff shape. How do I approach refinishing this thing?
