Has anyone used a SO-DIMM to U-DIMM RAM adapter?

I have some DDR4 laptop RAM. DDR4 here isn't crazy expensive used, like $20-25 per 8 GB, but I'd still like to repurpose what I already have. Before I order an adapter, has anyone here used one in their Optiplex or other common office PC?

Would appreciate hearing any of your experiences with this in a low-intensity context as I won't be pushing it to any extremes, I'd probably not even notice if it downclocked to 2133 MHz for example - I'm not doing any gaming, CAD, AI, etc as it's a simple home server. I googled it but almost all of the threads are about gaming and I don't know if they're relevant to my use case. Thanks

[CAN-BC] [H] Paypal [W] Intel 12th-14th gen or Celeron, any LGA1700 CPU with iGPU

Looking for a working Intel LGA1700 chip, any kind including Celeron, not including F or KF suffix.

Budget up to $250 CAD ($185 USD) shipped w/ Paypal G&S, depending on the chip. As an example if I send you $250 CAD via G&S and your shipping cost is $30, you keep $210.

Thanks

How do you keep things fresh on the homepage?

I've had a Stremio setup for a while, first with Trakt.tv lists, then with MDBlists, AIOLists, and now I'm using Top Streaming.

However I find my homepage remains a lot more stale than e.g. Netflix itself. Even the top-10 lists that a lot of online sources provide differ from what I see in the Top 10 on Netflix, but maybe that varies by country. Plus Netflix will add random lists like about certain genres, time periods, moods, etc.

Anyway I'm wondering if anyone has found a solution to this? I have my own server I can leverage if that helps. Is there some service/Trakt user that has lots of lists that update often?

I have this Optiplex 3090 mini-tower into which I'd like to mount 1x 3.5" HDD and 2x 2.5" HDD.

3.5" seems simple enough, remove front cover and use four standard screws (top right of pic on front PC face)

2.5s require a special dual-2.5 metal cage that I can't find anywhere for sale, part (9T3F1). A plastic aliexpress alternative runs $30+shipping which I'd like to avoid spending if I can.

Some ideas i had:
- That black plug-thing opposite the PSU at bottom right seems to block me from putting a 3.5-to-2.5 cage there plus I'm not sure the holes on that face are meant for a 3.5" mount

- I could use a slim-ODD to 2.5" HDD adapter but I would want another a place to mount the 2nd 2.5" HDD

- Can I just use strong 3M VHB tape and attach them to the PSU's flat faces? I don't know if this is dangerous, I've never opened a PC until today. Or tape to the upper flat portion of the PC case. I don't know if taping in place an HDD is okay.

Can anyone suggest how else I could mount these 2x 2.5" HDDs inside this case? I have attached an MSPaint drawing of where this cage usually sits, but I'd be willing to put them anywhere that works.

Thanks
