AI Paper Reader Water Resistance
Hi everyone! Very interested in the AI Paper Reader, and it seems to check most every box in what I’m looking for (aside from warm light and true fast charging).
However I do not see online or testimonials speaking to the level of water resistance. I imagine if it were rated, then it would be advertised. So I’m curious to hear your experience on this.
I often read at the beach and by my pool, and also intend to carry it with me in my pocket everywhere I go (so who knows what life will bring each day). Due to this, having a certain degree of water/dust resistance would be ideal.
Has anyone gotten their device wet (not submerged but maybe they got splashed with water while holding it, etc…) and had it be okay? Or gotten some sand on it?
I will try to avoid getting it wet or sandy as much as possible, but looking for a certain degree of peace of mind. Thank you guys!
EDIT: I have a Kobo Clara BW which does have water/dust resistance I use all the time now. The main reason for getting the Viwoods would be the form factor and AI features. So putting in a bag would get rid of the form factor and I’d rather just use my Kobo at that point. Was hoping I could have the reader as my daily driver.
