Will my plants recover?
New to keeping planted aquariums and I set up both a nano bowl situation and a 5.5 gallon tank at the same time. I split the plants between the aquariums and had some difficulties with the light on the larger tank for a while and used peroxide treatments in both for bladder snails that hitch hiked which I may have overdosed in the large tank. Now about 2 weeks from planting the two tanks have VERY different colors on both my dwarf baby tears and rotalas. Will the discolored plants survive? I have more tannins in the large tank but the plants themselves are definitely a different color. I've replaced the light today and hope for recovery but is that realistic at this point?
Both tanks are set up with RO water, aquasoil capped with aquarium sand, a squeeze of a friend's aquarium filter sponge, and some shrimp liquid minerals. The larger tank has a heater and very low flow filter for some circulation. The only other thing that should be alive in either tank is a single assassin snail each now that its been several days and a half water change since the peroxide.
Thank you in advance!
