Hi everyone! I’m looking for either a female roommate to search for housing with or an available room in a female household near UCLA.

A little about me: I’m a female graduate student in my late 20s studying at UCLA. I’m very quiet, clean, and respectful of shared spaces.

I’m hoping to move in around September 1st, but I’m flexible with the exact move-in date.

My budget is up to $1,900/month, but ideally I’d love to find something around $1,500/month. I’m also open to using a living room space as my room if the apartment is a good fit.

My preferences are:

• Close to UCLA
• Parking available
• A pool and gym would be a big plus!

Hello Kite Masters,

I am a beginner kite maker. I have been trying to build a three-dimensional house-shaped kite, and I am currently on my fifth attempt. However, I have continued to struggle to make it fly high and stably in the sky.

The kite is approximately 50 × 50 × 50 cm, and I am using laser-cut plywood and nylon fabric for the structure and surface.

The attached images show the most recent version of the kite. I was wondering if anyone might be willing to look at the drawings of my current structure and offer some advice or feedback.
