Hello all, I was just trying to find out some information following a conversation with my partner. We have moved to WA and, in their sausage sizzles, they use full hot dog rolls. Now personally, i find these to be massively hit and miss. I’d say maybe 1-2 in 10 are beautiful and fresh but most are a bit stale and then chewy and given the quantam of bread, really spoils the whole thing.
Now coming from QLD and NT I was only ever used to normal bread being used and I ended up asking them over here why they use the rolls and apparently it’s mandated by Bunnings.
Now I’m curious what happens in the other states? Is it one or the other? Would appreciate your help in knowing
