The final Sumeru act couldn't have been anything else but the harbinger of the story's finale. So grand, I think we are still trying to understand all that happened.

Collei's "dream"/vision was the very second time in my life the "It was just a dream" scared me out. The news of Sumeru's City being evacuated gave me chills that lasted for the WHOLE quest, and they got stronger every 10 minutes.

Irminsul rotting was preoccupying;

Common people going suicidal was terrifying, gave us such a sense of RUN!;

Mass evacuation to the desert (the place most forest dwellers have such a strong prejudice) was amazing inside the context of Sumeru;

Nefer and Nicole and Jeht and Liloupar and Sorush and Apep and Mavuika and the Shades and Rana, all together with the whole Sumeru's cast, gave such an "Avengers Endgame" vibe, truly exclamating how great the ongoing events were;

The 3 year long wait to unveil the pourpose for why King Deshret's Mausoleum looked so threatening;

The real time human miracle of making an artificial Irminsul out of uncompleted Aaru. Doesn't it make you wonder amazing it is how most of these events were started by and resolved by human hands?;

The liberation of the three kings and the reunion of the 7 pillars after millenia felt like being part of Teyvat's history;

Nabu Malikata remains inside Collei got me once again sad for the fate the Flower Goddess had;

The legit fear of Nahida DYING with Irminsul while the Pyro Gnosis BURNT IT TO ASHES.

This escalating sequence of events got so great it's truly hard to digest.

The whole quest got me on the edge of my seat for 6 whole hours. I haven't felt like this since Masquerade of the Guilty. Truth be told, if a quest is memorable, you'll remember it's name. And the Truth Among the Pages of Purana is going down as one of the best Archon Quests in the game. Personally, I promote it to my new favorite Archon Quest due to it's sheer quality. How happy I am that Genshin Impact made me feel this excited once again.

Makes me happier to know this was all just the prologue of, what I am really excited to see, the Grand Finale that is to come in the next 2 years.

Also, do face this quest as a warning: Do the main world quests of each region, and for now, Natlan's World Quests about the Dragons should be top priority.

With all that said**, Ad Astra Abyssosque.** And may the next patch bring us another great summer event.

Phenomenal.

But I am disappointed.

Dispatch is my very first visual-novel-like game, and I really hoped the in-game actions would have a lot more weight then it really did.

Going after Blonde Blazer, kissing her on the billboard or not doesn't really seem to make a difference in wether I romance her or not, but going to dinner. I say this because the option was still there when I decided to romance Visi.

Giving a hint on me being blue also didn't cause an effect on Prism or Mal reactions when they get to know it, wether I tell them or Chase does.

It also didn't effect how Flambae gets along with us. If we tell him, he comes around. If he discovers it by the end of the game, he doesn't even care.

And at the party, it doesn't matter if you decide to support the team and go raid the warehouse, or if you back off. Visi goes there alone the same, and Chase get's hurt the same. This is my biggest disappointment with the game, there is no way in making this different. I bet I could "not help" Visi, and she would manage either way.

I also did my second run with QTE disabled, and it was so much better, because the QTE have literal 0 effects on the story, which is also A SHAME.

And because all of that, I don't feel like playing a 3rd time to stay single. It barely changes a thing.

All of this aside, I do have compliments for the art style, the story, the setting of ambience, the Voice Acting and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the Characters.

It's really the high point seeing all of them exquisite people interacting. Prism and Mal are my favorites, they made me laugh tons. And it's adorable how they all came to feel like a team. I do felt like the most impactful decision is to tell them we are Mecha Man, because they get to be there on Proto 17, 12 idk. And it just adds another layer to the party scene.

I got so emotionally involved with the chatacters, I raised Golem's charisma first, because Blonde Blazer said he seems lonely, just as I leveled up Water Boy's charisma as well. And this is very weird, because I felt Water Boy looked more confident on the route I chose Phenomaman

And talking about Phenomaman, is he meant to be a parody of Omni Man? They talk the same way, it's hillarius. I hope I just foreshadowed Phenomaman going ballistic in the 2nd season and he is just playing dumb.

My greatest critique is really towards replayability, for a game like this, I think it was a lot more important. There should at least be 1 option where the final battle against Shroud doesn't happen at SDN or a scenario where the heroes don't win for a different set back to 2nd season, since, you know, all the finales are win with some minor changes
