Finally breaking a slump
It’s not much, but I’ve been in a slump for a long time. Chemo broke my attention span and I’ve felt really disconnected from the act of reading/finding where my enjoyment of it comes from but this community has helped me finally break that drought.
It’s a small start but at this point, I’ll take the win 🥰

Injured Bro
A baby bro crash landed with a broken wing in my yard. I know this bro and his whole family. He was so upset. I was upset. His murder was screaming, and hasn’t stopped since. Our local rehab was closed so we kept him cozy overnight and took him in first thing this morning, so he’s in good hands…but I just can’t stop crying. I feel so bad. I could see his little bone sticking out (otherwise I never would have touched him, I know better, I promise) and I keep seeing it in my head.
