Moving to Binghamton area, seeking advice on neighborhoods in Endicott/Endwell
Hello! My partner and I will be relocating to the Binghamton area soon for work and are having a difficult time finding a house to rent that is in a good location, pet friendly, and not too outdated. We currently live several hours away and unfortunately won't be able to visit again in person to view rentals before moving. We did find a home in Endicott that fits most of our needs, but are uncertain about the area near Main st. There's a sketchy hotel nearby we were warned about, and I'm not sure there is sufficient space in the neighborhood to walk our dog, jog, etc. We're looking for local's perspective on this area (outlined in the photo) and any advice you can give about living/moving here.
