Free set of 3d printable knobs for the fm1

I have big dumb fingers and wanted big dumb knobs. I designed 3 different shapes, so there's some variety.

Mine were printed on a stock prusa mk4 and they're super tight. You may need to scale them up if your printer prints differently than mine. There is a gap of a few mm between the pieces so you can scale up quite a bit before they would hit each other.

Fatty - just a big fat knob.
Paddle- easy to grip and spin, nice visual feedback at a glance kind of
Notch - you can put your finger on it and spin it easily without grabbing the knob.

I've included STEP files so you can modify them more easily if you're into CAD.

This new sip&puff switch is packed with features and is pretty darn cheap

I'm not 100% ready to realease it yet, but the parts alone so far cost far less than $100.

designing a low cost sip/puff controller. could use some voices of folks who actively use sip/puff

Hey folks, I'm Caleb Kraft, I run www.thecontrollerproject.com . I'm in the middle of designing a sip/puff gaming interface and could use the feedback and thoughts of some folks who use them actively. I have a discord where we can chat about features and annoyances etc.

for those who just want the deets:
this is an attempt to make a sip/puff gaming controller that is much cheaper than the current alternatives. I currently have 3 sip/puff switches (so 6 buttons), saveable game configs, configurable sensitivity. Trying to keep it all under $100. we'll see how well I do. Currently PC only, though I *think* it might work on Xbox. I don't have one to test. Pretty sure I'll release it all as open source.
