I play Salamanders, but thought I would share this as you all would hopefully appreciate.
I wanted to do some Covenant of fire infernus marines to bring with my salamanders. Here was my attempt at the symbol through sculpting.

Hello all,
I am very happy with these scales and thought I would share to give ideas to anyone interested. All I did was roll out a long rope or snake of green stuff and milliput mixed together, and cut them in diamond shaped pieces. Then super glued to the terminator power fist wherever they would fit. It was quite easy. I textured them with the hobby knife after with streaks and lines so make them look more like scales.
Also included my infernus marine. I had a few ideas I was trying out - I have a big idea for a redemptor dread and wanted practice. Enjoy!
