How did you guys make it through paramedic ride outs and hospital shifts?

I’m struggling HARD with school right now. My job is putting me through my medic and it’s a 10 month program. We just started our ride outs and clinicals and as I’m planning them out I’m realizing that I will maybe, MAYBE if I’m lucky, have one day off a month where I’m not working or doing my internship. On top of no days off, I still have a shit ton of schoolwork to do. How tf are y’all getting through this and still having time for schoolwork and studying? And when am I supposed to go grocery shopping or go to the laundromat? It all just seems so impossible right now. I work in a busy 911 system that does 12hr shifts and system status posting so I’m not able to really do any of my schoolwork or personal tasks on shift. I’m just at a loss as to how I will make this work. I don’t make enough money currently to just buy more uniforms and get food on the go to remedy the lack of time to do basic human survival tasks so I’m freaking out pretty damn hard. Part of the problem is that this is a short program that requires more clinical hours than any of the other longer programs in my area but there’s absolutely no chance in hell I can afford a program that’s not paid for by my job.

Has anyone else had this experience with paramedic school and if so, how did you manage? If anyone has any advice please help lol

Why do I bruise so easily all of a sudden?

Ive been noticing over the past year or so that I’ve been bruising increasingly easy and have a BUNCH of seemingly inexplicable bruises. I’m a 22 year old female, 5ft tall and 126lbs. I’m generally pretty healthy, I decently balanced diet, exercise regularly and don’t have any diagnosed heath issues other than migraines. The only meds I take are antihistamines for seasonal allergies. I will say for some background, I have been to the doctor numerous times over the past couple of years attempting to get answers for my debilitating fatigue and more recently increased acne and hair loss. I’ve had blood tests and don’t have any nutritional deficiencies and my hormones are all normal. Im not sure if the bruising is related to the other issues but it seems like it’s possible considering that they have all been developing and getting worse over the past year. Just in the past 6 months my hair has started coming out in chunks, my energy levels are at 0, I have the worst acne I’ve ever had in my life and something as simple as wearing a backpack will give me bruises where the straps are. What made me really notice the bruising getting worse is that the last few times I’ve worn sports bras, I’ve gotten these red/purple bruise lines where the edges dig into my skin a little. My legs are absolutely covered in bruises that I can’t remember where they came from. Leaning on a counter will leave bruises on my arms. I never used to bruise like this. When I google what could be the cause it’s saying that iron and nutritional deficiencies could be the culprit but I know I’m not deficient from my multiple previous blood tests. Like I said before all my lab work was within normal limits so I’m not even sure what else the doc could check for or if this even really warrants a check. If anyone is able to give me some direction on what could possibly be the culprit/what to ask my doctor about please do.
