Does anyone here know the Tolkien-inspired music artist Oonagh?
Hello! I must say that even though I've never read Tolkien's works themselves, there's this one music artist whose music is heavily inspired by his entire universe and lore, and I grew up on her music as a kid and still love it to this day - her name is Oonagh, most of her music is in a mix of German and Quenya languages, I feel like it's super unique and not many artists have done something like this. And - if I as a complete Tolkien rookie fell in love with her music years ago - I feel like many of you could love it too, to me it feels like a perfect soundtrack to his world!
The artist herself has rebranded years ago and left this alter ego behind, but in the 2010s she's released multiple albums and music videos inspired by this style and was fairly popular in Germany at the time. My personal favorite album from her is "Märchen enden gut" (2016), but her previous albums from 2012 and 2014 were even more popular.
