After the deal with Brighton seemed to have already been finalized, Kaminski has apparently now reached an agreement with Benfica. Might not be his "dream" PL but imho obviously a bit of a cooler choice. This frees up the LW spot for a certain other guy even tho he also played pretty decent as a Second Striker under Wagner imho. El Mala signed a new deal with REWE after him and his brother are already advertising Kölner Sparkasse... seems like everything is shaping up for an opportunity to stay another year. Nagelsmann's public humiliation may also have shown El Mala that everything Nagelsman has said and done about him was wrong (and it had nothing to do with playing at FC). Meanwhile, former FC failure coach Ståle Solbakken is writing history with Norway. Impressive.
By the way, it seems Adidas' strategy of producing one boring, one retro and one unconventional kit design might actually satisfy every single disgruntled fan?
FC is interested in Ermin Mahmic (21, OM, FC Slovan Liberec)

After I had already announced it so incorre boldly a month ago, standard players' contracts are actually expiring at the end of June. The press is also reporting that we will finally see some signings in the next two weeks.
Jaka Čuber Potočnik already signed an extension and is going to be loaned out again to Essen. I wonder if it's the right destination for a loan but imho at his age it's the correct decision to keep on believing - when he wasn't injured he looked very promising. FC is also looking to loan out Schenten. The Adidas contract starts on the first of July and some home kits were already spotted in Adidas stores. Exciting times ahead.
FC is interested in José Marsà (24, LB, KV Mechelen)

Not much going on atm beside some Geißbockheim shenanigans and speculations about extending, renovating and (or?) buying the stadium. The lease from the city is over 2034 which sounds like the distant future but it's good the people in charge are doing some long term planning. Even tho an extension of the stadium appears to be completely impossible with our lovely residents who get a kick out of going to court.
The WC is taking away most of the attention on the footballing side but still people are getting nervous about transfers. Let's hope most of them are done when the pre-season starts. It would also be amazing if the El Mala / Kaminski situation doesn't drag on forever. No matter the outcome.
Big thanks to /u/Vegetable_Network879 for keeping the WD going :)
