The 2011 maps were drawn in a law firm's "map room" and Republican legislators had to sign a confidentiality agreement before they could see their own districts

All of this is in the court record from the lawsuits.

Draft maps had names like "Joe's Basemap Assertive" and "Tad Aggressive."

There was a spreadsheet called "Tale of the Tape" with a list of "GOP Donors to the Team." Not money. It meant Republicans in safe seats who gave up some of their voters to help other districts.

One state senator sent this in: "If you need a way to take the Staskunas seat, put a little bit of my Senate seat into New Berlin (2–3 wards could make that a GOP Assembly seat)."

They tested the final map before passing it and it kept a majority with 48% of the vote. Next election Republicans got 48.6% and 60 of 99 seats. In 2018 Evers won the state and carried 36 of the 99 Assembly districts.

The staff testified it wasn't about partisan advantage. The judges called that "almost laughable."

The Fetterman Inversion: a data investigation into how John Fetterman became more popular with Pennsylvania Republicans than with Democrats

I run Call the Map, a small election-forecast site. After the Republican convention video I spent the week on a long piece about Fetterman: four Quinnipiac polls, all 1,581 roll calls of his term scored against his own caucus (Voteview data), the 2022 county returns against Shapiro’s, and the FEC filings.

Spent a year building a 2026 forecast, no idea how to show it to anyone

Spent an insane amount of time on this over the past year and just put it live — callthemap.com.

Now it's done and I've realised I have no idea how to show it to anyone, so I'm hoping this is the right place for it. Methodology's published in full, including a page on what it's bad at.

Would genuinely love any feedback, especially where it's wrong.

Maybe someone on here finds it useful or interesting, i really put a lot of work into it.

Thanks!
