Honestly, a tough loss today. There were definitely some things that didnt go our way, but I also feel like we made a few decisions that couldve been better. The middle overs especially felt like a phase where we couldve done more with the ball.
I was also wondering why naman wasn’t brought in earlier, and I really wanted to see Abhi use himself a bit more with the ball. There were moments where it felt like we were just letting the game drift instead of trying something different.
Not trying to overanalyse one game because it’s literally the first match, but these are the kind of things that can be worked on before the next one. The team definitely has potential, and hopefully they come back stronger from this.
And abhi as a captain, i just hope he takes the positives from today as well. Tough start, but hopefully this team has a good run ahead. Chin up boys 🩷 Onto the next one.
