UV Sanded And Sealed plywood
Does anyone have any experience with Columbia Forests pre sealed UV plywood. Will any finish adhere to this ? I’ll be using lacquer and sanding again before applying.

Pre finished UV Plywood
How does everyone use pre finished plywood? I happen to have access to just about any kind I can need. But I’m concerned about a few things. Will a clear lacquer on face frames match the boxes well enough? Will the UV coating affect me gluing my boxes together or will it require I use dados to get that raw surface? If I was to use UV panels as my center panel on a door, how would I handle getting a finish on the frames?

Took some advice from some users here and started making these with matching grain direction along the edges. I also built a crosscut sled for making the 45s on the edge pieces. Ive found it’s much easier to make a few at a time and I’ll double side tape the edge pieces together. Makes it much more worthwhile finding the perfect fit on multiple pieces vs the one.
