For Liberals: If there were absolute evidence that immigration was detrimental to your causes, and immigrants grew the Christian Right, would you still support it?

For example, what if millions of Europeans who were fundamentalists/TradCaths/confessing Prots started coming into the country, and began voting Republican in elections, and made traditionally Democratic States more competitive, would your opinion of immigration change?

Would you support the reformation of the House Committee on Un American Activities?

Said committee would work with Federal law enforcement to investigate allegations of espionage and disloyalty to the country. Said committee would also investigate alleged cults, extremism, Big Tech companies, Big Pharma, Big Law Firms, alleged judicial misconduct, alleged secret societies, and, similar groups and activities that might be considered domestic enemies.
