Thierry: "Yeah, I hink we should be there next year, I don't know yet how and when. But Im sure whatever we gonna find some opportunities with Hyundai as well to get some cars running and still be there. I think the brand deserves to continue, it has done great in the rallying so far, it has always been there to defend and uh, be there next to Toyota, uhm. Pretty great battles and I think this needs to continue. For sure, like I said, a little break for me would be nice next year but maybe a little bit less and then, see if we can come back stronger.

I guess that confirms what we all already knew, Hyundai out, maybe a Rally2 car satellite team, Thierry taking a break from full time season and maybe doing a few selected rallies.

Maybe they return in 2028 with a new car, let's see.

I've been seeing quite a lot of ambiguity and negativity online towards Solberg this season. It's like quite a few people are rooting against him and don't want him to win this rally. Do people think he's some kind of Nepo-baby or what am I missing? I don't remembet seeing this abiguity towards Kalle a few years ago?

Yes his consistency this year wasn't great, it's usually either win or crash with the guy, but that's what makes him fun to watch for me.

Also I think that his fiery personality brings a lot of much needed fresh energy to the championship and am looking forward to his next few seasons.

And Btw, I want Elfyn to win this championship.

Hi, new here! As title says i was introduced to this amazing band by the trailer for a little PS2 game called Jak X which released back in 2005.

I now have re-discovered this gem after all these years as I always wondered what that amazing catchy song was in the trailer. This led me to listen to all QOTSA albums and I have come to love their music a lot - I think I might have found one of my favorite rock bands so far. I originally come from a hip hop background and started getting into rock music again two years ago (thanks to Shoegaze and Stoner Rock) and can't stop listening now. I also got aware of Josh Homme from various podcasts and liked the guy's vibe and stories a lot.

What a great band! Go with the flow might be one of the best music videos I've ever seen.

Some great ones like Gronholm's "Up in the *ss of Timo" or Panizzi's "he not sport! *Whistle sounds*" as well as some of the modern era come to mind.

Drivers are full of adrenaline at stage end and immediately are shoved a microphone in their face resulting in some great quotes across the years, an aspect I love about this sport. Glad the FIA stopped fining drivers for swearing at stage end.

At this weekend's Rally Japan it was notable how many drivers made comments about enjoying the last time driving Rally1 on asphalt, calling it "a shame" and "a privilege to have driven these cars".

With the rest of the season being full gravel, this is the last time we will see Rally1 cars on tarmac.

Personally, I am excited for next year's regulations to bring more constructors and brands into the sport and a denser field when mixed with the Rally2 field leading to hopefully more exciting battles with underdogs/locals when all drivers have equal machinery.

I will admit, I will miss these Rally1 machines. The last generation from 2025 - 2026 has become some of my favorite WRC cars ever with their stick-shift, non-centre differential, 400bhp and simpler aero (except rear wing) than the 2017 cars.
