Hi all,

I am a new Navy spouse. My husband has just joined and it seems like we’ll be going to Sasebo Japan. We’ve just talked about it with his detailer today so all very new. In my research I found out about overseas screening and EFMP which I will likely have to enroll in.

I have asthma and am on a self administered biologic for this. This biologic is also approved in Japan. It’s extremely well controlled and I have only required one course of steroids in the past two years due to an acute viral illness. Otherwise my asthma is well controlled, has never required hospitalization or any emergency care. How worried do I need to be that it will be denied? Thanks all!
