reddit.comShort but sweet seaglass hunting today
Found a shark fin, a bit of grinding wheel and a big chunk o glass.
Base layer done.
I'm bring more orange to this.
Thinking a glitch/coding type piece with an element of realism (I'm crap at realism, I'm impatient and don't like working with brushes so this is going to be great really... )
Very much a beginner and I'm liking this mess about and find out kind of method. So let's see what comes out I guess.
Tips and tricks welcomed ☺️
Dunno where I'm going with this piece. Going for a glitch type thing.
But it's somewhere to start I guess? Tip as advice for a beginner would be appreciated
Sea glass Abstract/Zero Dawn Structures/succulents, flowers?
I may have burned through nearly a kilo of clay.
Used sealant for glue in some places.
I'm attempting succulents
I've been working on these today and the green looks like kryptonite clusters 😂
Anyways it's a process, cheers Reddit.
Light up the dark (pt1 of I dunno)
I long to hear his words
To know his pen touched
Parts of my soul,deeper
Then any half bound
Light clouded
'Hey u up'
At 3am Text
'U horny bitch'
'When u meeting'
next?'
To know his mind
Brought to life
Those traces of me
Whatever they maybe
If it's tails of my insufferable
Nature, constant doubt
Self driven cycle of implosion
or my tendency to
bite...
Or
when out of sight.
I slowly Break, the grief
the baggage
Weighing down my wings
In the dark, the cracks
Of the dream give way to
Cold hard glass
Shattered, reality
Strikes,
matches in hand.
You see me
My self
And
My shadow.
Chaotic Rest
Rest when the tide tells me to fight
That whipped up flux against the walls.
Giving into the flow of things
not struggling to stay afloat
But having faith
the tide will carry
Me to where
I need to be.
Welcome to the freeze response
Where the world flies by at 10,000 miles
And an hour feels like 10,000 days.
This is where the movement comes to die
Where I cannot hold up the air around me
Nothing grows except the moss on my cheeks
The ground beneath hopefully but very slowly
Gives way to the roots
I fear
I've been here too long...
