I'm about to start my an apprenticeship as a carpenter/joiner. My budget for workboots is 300$cad. Im pretty broke and its really all i can afford atm. My soon to be coworkers are saying its a waste of money since im changing them yearly/need to soon change for a winter pair.they say I should get something cheaper. Online people are saying to ball out on super expensive pairs. Im not sure what advice to follow or even what pair to get since I am getting conflicting advice. (I do need do buy a winter pair I live in quebec-canada and we can get harsh winters. But that's another problem for another day)
