Tena Bar
After watching Ryan's video with Ron on Tena Bar I am absolutely amazed that these two didn't figure this out--they said all the right things, but didn't come to the most logical conclusion. Shortly after jumping from the plane DB Cooper buries the money on Tena Bar a goodly distance from the November shoreline. In August 1974 a dredge layer of sand is placed on top of the money further preserving and secreting the cache. Natural erosion takes place over the next 6 years and when the tide is at it's highest, May through July and the money is nearest to the surface in 1979 the diatoms penetrate the sand and infiltrates the, now only modestly concealed, cash. The tide then recedes in the fall and winter and erosion continues bringing the money to the surface before finally being discovered in February 1980. Ergo, no fall/winter diatoms and reasonably preserved money. Case closed. I mean when you hear hoofbeats think horses not zebras. A man jumped with this money less than 25 miles away from where it was ultimately found. It's certainly more likely that he, than any other zebra, was the horse who buried it there.
