At Home Face Trims on Puppy?

Hi everyone! This is Ralph and he's 11 weeks old. The first 2 pictures are what he looked like when we got him at 8 weeks. The last 3 are what he looks like now.

I want to trim his face so we can see his beautiful green eyes again. He got his 2nd set of DHLPP with lepto initial, bordetella, and Lyme disease vaccines, but I don't feel comfortable taking him to the groomers before his last set of shots.

I have trimmers and blunt scissors from our past dog, but she was used to going to the groomers and wasn't a doodle. I've done training with him to get him used to staying still while holding his chin with scissors in my other hand, but haven't actually worked up the courage to trim his face yet. Looking for helpful tips or videos on trimming his face as a puppy!

How to stretch naps from 1 hours to 2 hours?

I have a 9 week old Aussiedoodle and I'm a new puppy owner. When we first got him, he would nap for about 2 hours at a time. After a few days with us, he started to only nap for an hour at a time.

When he wakes up from his nap, I will hear him whimper a bit so I will take him straight outside because I don't want him to have an accident in his crate and I live in an apartment. When I go to open his crate though, I don't open the crate until he calms down so he associates wimpering as going outside instead of leaving the crate. Then we go outside to potty and then we play and train for an hour until he falls asleep again. After that the cycle repeats.

He's not too nippy so I figured it was okay and he sleeps from 2:30-6:30 AM at night. Mainly asking because I'm seeing a lot of posts about their puppy napping for 2-3 hours. Should I stretch his naps back to 2 hours? If so, how? Should I let him soothe himself back to sleep instead of letting him outside?

Puppy Tracker/Logging App?

Does anyone know a good Puppy Tracker App? I want to be able to track what/how much he eats/sleeps, when he does it, his weight, and add his vet schedule to it.

I know this is very extra and not for everyone, but I like keeping those kinds of logs. It's fun for me to look back at the history and see how much has changed.
