I'm an international student from India and I just got into university of Glasgow for a bachelor's in computing science. If anybody is studying at Glasgow or graduated from Glasgow or even living in that area could you please share tips and advice for me...Also any advice regarding choosing dorms,catering,packing for the climate etc would be greatly appreciated.

Hey iam an 18 year old Indian student just finished highschool and applying to UNSW Sydney for four year engineering honor's course.I had a recent visa refusal under 214b due to a small mistake in the documents and getting anxious during the interview and now I'm not able to find any slots for visa to attend us university for fall 2026.Im considering applying to UNSW Sydney and I have the eligibility criteria and planning on moving in January for the main intake.
My only worry is that I might get another rejection and I'd have to wait till next fall to attend college and my one year would go to waste.
So I have financially a 70 lakh loan and savings in gold about 40 lakh my dad has an income of around 50 lpa and I doubt that I might have an issue in proving sufficient funds.I heard I have to show entire four year cost and that would be difficult now because I also have a plot that needs to be sold around 50 lakh but it's taking time.
So I wanna ask you if I should wait for this or go ahead with some alternate university.

I'm not getting any visa slots as of now and I'm panicking because I have to be at the university of Minnesota in fall 2026 but in case I do not get slots I'll be considering deferring my admission to spring 2027 but can somebody please tell me if that's a good idea or not.

I just got a F1 visa refusal because of a mistake on my DS 160 but I have fixed that error and created a new one but there are no slots available and my class starts in fall 2026.Is there any way I could get an expedite request approval for my F1 visa and get it approved to arrive on campus in time.
