Trying to find an EV that fits our baby gear and the 7x was so good

We wanted an EV that comfortably fits baby seats as well as our large double pram with some room to spare. The showroom staff let me try fit my large pram inside and it fits in nicely into the dipped slot in the 7x. How good is that!

Mid-size EV SUV shortlist for a young family

I'm currently driving a Kia Stinger so getting my kid in and out of the rear facing seat is becoming challenging as she gets bigger. While the boot has been great in the past, fitting our large pram in there leaves little space for anything else (I also have to remove the boot cover).

Priorities for our next car:

- Must be EV as I want to take advantage of the novated lease tax benefits and we have a good solar and battery set up at home already. We rarely do road trips so range isn't a concern.

- Back seat doors need to be easy to get a baby in and out of. My current car is coupe-shaped so basically any squarish doors that SUVs have would be fine.

- Large boot so we can fit our pram, baby bag and potentially some shopping without having to stress about it.

I've been looking at the Geely EX5, BYD Sealion 7, and Zeekr 7x. They all seem like great cars in their respective price ranges but we're thinking of going with the 7x as that has a bit more of a wow factor compared to the other two in regards to features.

Questions:

- Anyone here actually living with one of these with a young family? Why did you pick it?

- Do the floaty rides in the Sealion 7 make your kids car-sick?

- Any other model I should be looking at but missed? We don't want a Tesla as we're not a fan of the minimalism in the design.
