The best big brother

Brought home Ozzy at 10 weeks old and shortly after found out my wife and I were having a baby. Fast forward 9 months and we welcomed our baby boy into the world on 5/15. We came home 2 days later and Ozzy has been nothing but amazing. Super caring and gentle, always has to investigate why he’s crying, and always keeping his distance but making sure he’s there. Couldn’t ask for a better big brother ❤️

We call him the customer service manager because he goes to everyone and makes sure everyone is satisfied. My cat is the quality control manager because he needs to try and taste everything and feel how soft/snuggly everything is.

I have an XL commencal meta HT that is stock with a 150mm Rockshox recon silver 35 coil. I’m a big guy and I max this shock out on anything. With zero ability to adjust, I opted to get a 160mm Marzocchi bomber z1. I took it to my LBS to have them install and after I left they called stating the axle to crown length is off by 2cm. I anticipated the axle to crown length to be long because of the longer travel, but they will not install the fork unless I get a written okay from commencal. I get changing the geometry is not ideal, but from what I’ve read, if you stay within 20mm more or less travel you’ll be okay.

Should I email commencal and explain the situation and try to get written approval? Or just pick everything up and do it myself. It seems easy enough, I just don’t have the tools right now to do it.
