Is surreal sound pro and dynamic handling a must have ?

We mostly listen to music through Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, so I’m curious if there’s a noticeable difference in sound quality with the Surreal Sound system in the Gravity.
I’ve seen quite a few people say the Surreal Sound system in the Air isn’t very good. Is it really that bad in the Gravity as well, or is the Gravity system noticeably better?
Also, how important is the Dynamic Handling package in real-world driving? Since all Gravity trims come with the standard single-chamber active suspension, would we actually miss Dynamic Handling during normal daily driving, or is it something you’d mainly notice during more spirited driving?
Would love to hear from Gravity owners who’ve experienced both setups.

Lucid gravity GT test drive

https://www.reddit.com/r/Gravity/s/m4UVTcr7CY

Had a pretty extended test drive (about an hour) yesterday with the Lucid Gravity Grand Touring. The test drive car had almost all the features except the Tech Pack.

A few observations:
The Gravity definitely looks like a big vehicle, but once you’re behind the wheel, it honestly feels more like driving a medium-sized SUV. It didn’t feel nearly as large as I expected.

Steering felt really good to me—not too light or too heavy. The EQE, by comparison, has much softer steering at lower speeds which isn’t so bad.

I also got to try the hands-free driving. It worked really well on the freeway and, surprisingly, even worked on an inner road with yellow center lines. ( I felt it shouldn’t have worked as changes of those road being mapped is near to impossible).
One thing I noticed is that it doesn’t stop at stop signs. It also prompted me to take control when we hit some road imperfections. It felt like the whole vehicle was shaking. I could feel vibration through the steering wheel on rough roads. Not sure if that’s just this particular car or something inherent to the Gravity, so I’d definitely want to test another one.

Braking felt spot on.

One pedal driving with strong recuperation felt just like Tesla.

Surreal Sound Pro sounded great, even while playing some of my daughter’s favorite songs via Spotify.

The screen/UI was also pretty intuitive and easy to use.

Two things I found lacking quality was rear view mirror. Comparing it with what I have in EQE n had in macan, it felts the plastic was made by cheap material. It didn’t feel sturdy and rubber beading along both the front doors were curled ( like how extra piece of beading would look). I’m sure this can be fixed by service. Other than these nothing else caught my eyes :)

My daughter gave a big thumbs up provided we buy a black car and wife wants massage seats.

We have decided to wait until sep before pulling the trigger and would in the meantime try to get a longer test drive and also check other contenders.

Stuck Between the Lucid Gravity and Other 3-Row EV SUVs

My lease on a Mercedes EQE SUV ends in October (currently paying around $800/month), so I’ve been actively looking for my next EV. I have an active reservation for the Rivian R2, but I couldn’t justify spending $60k+tax on a 5-seater, especially with my concerns about range.
We do a lot of road trips, and during PNW winters it gets frustrating having to stop frequently to charge. The Lucid Gravity caught my attention because of its advertised 400+ miles of range. I typically cruise at 70–75 mph on the freeway, so real-world highway efficiency is one of my biggest priorities.
Another important factor is rear-seat comfort. We have a forward-facing child seat, so shoulder room for the two adults sitting next to it matters. In my EQE, the middle seat has a firmer cushion and isn’t very comfortable on longer drives, so I’m hoping to find something better.
Has anyone here cross-shopped the Kia EV9, Hyundai Ioniq 9, and the Lucid Gravity Touring or Grand Touring? What ultimately made you choose one over the others, and what ruled the others out? I’d especially love to hear about your experiences with real-world highway range, road-trip charging, ride quality, and rear-seat comfort
