C125U steel, Gidgee handle. When I designed the ‘Bon’Ap’ lines (I created several models with this characteristic curvature and handle shape), my goal was to make Japanese‑inspired profiles accessible to people who are used to Western‑style knives.
Symmetrical grinds, easy to sharpen, hamon… but with a curved edge that evokes the rocking motion of Western blades.

If you like it, I’ll show you a standard ‘Bon’Ap’, a kitchen‑oriented utility knife for quick, everyday tasks… and also for slicing saucisson during apéro. ;)

Camp/outdoor utilitary knife, 80CRV2 and bog oak

The steel is fully hardened and given a homemade acid stonewash finish (including the heel). The lanyard bead is made from the same material as the handle. When designing this model, I wanted a functional and robust knife while keeping the clean, understated aesthetic that defines my work. The steel is 4 mm thick at its maximum, and the grind has a convex section over the last 3 mm near the edge to maintain maximum strength for demanding tasks.
Hope you'll like it ;)

A set of 6 table knives I made for a customer.

It seems many of you liked my three last table knives, so this is the most premium set I've made for a customer. Woods are (top du down) : stabilized curly poplar, stabilized maple burl, and Gidgee.

The three last kitchen knives I made. 3 different styles.

Stabilized elm burl, dyed stabilized curly birch, and Gidgee.
I make a lot of kitchen knives, mostly with hamons. If you like them, I'll post more frequently here. Have a nice week-end !
