This new boiler is only 3 years old but gathering rust. Is it the valve? The small pipe is wet, seems like it? But the valve should not fail this early. Any advice appreciated. Also wondering if we should invest into a stand or the rust be painted over once issue is addressed.

I got the old faucet out, loosened the nuts on the silver pipe between the pvc but in order to get the silver tail piece out I must remove the jpipe / ptrap and see no nuts that allow me to disassemble the pvc. Many online videos have easily screwable slip nuts but I don’t know how to remove the ptrap here. Thanks!
