I shoot at Roll Call often as it's nearby, but I'd love an outdoor range that isn't SGL. Google doesn't seem to have much and I wasn't sure if that's just because of obscurity or if such clubs don't exist. I don't mind waiting periods, etc. Doesn't have to specifically be in Lackawanna.
My dad wants to gift me some of his guns. He's in CT where everything is registered with the department of public safety via the local police, and I'm in PA (a lawful PA gun owner also).

My understanding is he can legally transport the firearm from his home directly to a PA FFL, meet me there, and we do the transfer right then and there in person. Is that correct?

His only question, which I wasn't sure about, was how does CT get notified that this gun is no longer in his possession, as the state has it in its registry? Is the 4473 process what creates that paper trail or something?

I feel like I'm right on the money but it seems too simple, I guess. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

Clips couldn't do this beauty justice. I take the small loop and put it over my pants button before fastening the pants. The knife sits comfortably in my waistband. When deployed, the string pops the sheath off and it hangs until I resheathe. The paracord has had the innards removed, it fits the grommets better this way and keeps a low profile.
